Kirsty McAndrew Joins Cargonet - new regional sales manager

We’re pleased to share another step forward in Cargonet’s growth, with the appointment of Kirsty McAndrew as Regional Sales Manager, based at our Manchester branch.

As recently featured in Air Cargo Week, Kirsty’s arrival strengthens our presence across the North and expands the support we offer to freight forwarders throughout the region. Having joined the Manchester team in June 2026, she brings nearly a decade of experience in freight and logistics, with a strong background in air cargo and wholesale forwarding.

Strengthening Our Northern Presence

In her new role, Kirsty will work closely with freight forwarders across Northern England, while supporting our continued investment in regional growth. She arrives with an impressive industry network built over years in the sector, and a reputation for developing long-term customer relationships grounded in trust, service and reliability.

Warm, approachable and commercially sharp, Kirsty is the kind of person who hits the ground running wherever she goes.

Andy Sullivan, our Commercial Director, shared his thoughts on the appointment:

“We’re delighted to welcome Kirsty to the Cargonet team. She has built an excellent reputation within our industry for her professionalism, enthusiasm and customer-first approach, and those values align perfectly with our own culture. As we continue to invest in our Manchester operation and strengthen our presence across the North, Kirsty’s appointment represents another important step in our growth strategy.”

Putting Forwarders First

Kirsty’s appointment is part of our wider commitment to backing the freight forwarding community with knowledgeable, accessible people who genuinely understand the business. It’s another sign of Cargonet’s ongoing investment in people, technology and regional infrastructure as we grow our national footprint.

Speaking on her new role, Kirsty McAndrew said:

“I’m excited to be joining Cargonet at such an exciting stage of the company’s journey. Cargonet has an outstanding reputation for service, and I’m looking forward to building new relationships while helping existing customers grow. The business has ambitious plans, and I’m delighted to be part of the next chapter.”

With operations in London and Manchester, Cargonet provides neutral airfreight and courier services exclusively to freight forwarders. Kirsty’s appointment reinforces our commitment to keeping that support personal, reliable and close to the forwarders who rely on us.
